Let's celebrate today's Iconic birthday:
Harry Dean Stanton!
One of my favorite movies, The Straight Story, had a brief part by Harry at the end.
The movie is based on a true story of a man that wanted to visit his brother but couldn't drive a car so he rode his lawnmower the entire way.
Richard Farnsworth was nominated for an Acadamy Award for his role.
He was also the oldest person to ever be nominated for lead actor.
After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Richard died from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
And I seriously miss him.
I know we got off track there, but that's what we're here for.
