Glen Edward Scoggins

Scoggins, Glen Edward Born February 12, 1942 and passed away October 19, 2008. Born and raised in the White Rock area of Dallas, a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a Lewisville resident for the past 30 years. He obtained a B.S. degree in accounting at Abilene Christian University in 1963 and served in the US Army Reserves. Glen worked in the banking industry for more than 40 years in the metroplex and most recently for Texas Star Bank in Van Alstyne, TX. Preceded in death by parents, W.O. and Hazel Scoggins; and sister, Barbara Jean Gibbs. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Scoggins; son and daughter- in-law, Keith and Shelley Scoggins; daughter, Trisha Garrett; grand- children, Garrett Huffman, Marcus Scoggins, Matt Scoggins, and McKenzie Scoggins; brother, Kenneth Scoggins and wife Elizabeth; sister, Elaine Jones and husband Tom; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30pm, Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, Octo- ber 22, 2008 at Lewisville Church of Christ, 901 College Pkwy. in Lewisville. Graveside service will follow at 3:30pm at Restland Memorial Park.
